Overview
Hollow-centre RV reducer with a large through-bore for cables, hoses and shafts. Usually driven by an external spur gear for a combined overall ratio.
The RV stage is the same two-stage spur and cycloid design as the E series, arranged around a hollow centre so services can run straight through the joint.
Typical uses: robot base (J1) and wrist joints with internal cabling, two-axis welding positioners, large rotary and indexing tables, radar, antenna and turret drives.
